Position Summary

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting efficient manufacturing operations. This role leads inventory accuracy initiatives, investigates discrepancies, analyzes production and inventory data, and partners with operations to improve processes across the facility.


What You'll Do

  • Lead cycle counts and inventory accuracy programs.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and identify root causes.
  • Train team members on inventory processes and Rite Scan.
  • Process manufacturing labor and material transactions.
  • Analyze inventory, production, and Work-in-Process (WIP) data.
  • Maintain synchronization between manufacturing systems and Syspro ERP.
  • Review shipping and receiving transactions for inventory accuracy.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Support warehouse organization and inventory control best practices.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree or related experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
  • Experience with inventory systems, ERP software, or manufacturing operations preferred.
  • Strong computer skills with attention to detail.
  • Forklift certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to travel up to 5%.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, ending, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
