Job description

International College of Health Sciences (ICHS) is seeking a Director of College Admissions who will play a critical leadership role in managing the entire student recruitment and enrollment process. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in supporting the institution's mission to provide quality education to students seeking careers in healthcare. Located in the vibrant Boynton Beach area of Florida, ICHS is dedicated to shaping the future of healthcare professionals through innovative educational approaches.
Purpose
The Director of College Admissions will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic recruitment initiatives that align with ICHS's commitment to expanding access to healthcare education. Under the direction of management, develops, supervises and evaluates the College strategic recruitment plan, including working with Enrollment Services to ensure a personalized and seamless approach to recruitment, admission and enrollment of new students. Works closely with leadership to integrate efforts ensuring an effective, inclusive College-wide approach to recruiting students. Manages the day-to-day operations of Student recruitment. This role is pivotal in creating pathways for students to enter dynamic healthcare professions by leveraging our unique learning methodologies.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Leadership
  • Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract qualified students in alignment with ICHS enrollment goals
  • Leads teams in facilitating on-campus and off-campus recruiting events
  • Set and achieve enrollment targets in collaboration with senior management
  • Lead and manage the admissions team, providing training and professional development
  • Design marketing materials and informational resources about the institution

Admissions Process Management
  • Oversee the entire admissions process from initial inquiry to student enrollment
  • Evaluate potential students and make critical admission decisions
  • Implement and monitor admissions policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to improve recruitment strategies

Outreach and Collaboration
  • Serve as a point of contact for prospective and newly enrolled students
  • Coordinate admissions events and campus tours
  • Collaborate with various departments like marketing, financial aid, and academic units
  • Represent the institution at conferences, high schools, and community events

Requirements
Education / Experience / Knowledge
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Education, Public Administration, Marketing, or a related field; master's degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience where two years of related experience equals one year of schooling. Related experience assumes a similar corporate role focused on admissions or enrollment management. Five years of experience in admissions or enrollment is required.
Required Experience and Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in admissions or enrollment management
  • Proven track record of successful student recruitment
  • Experience in team leadership and management
  • Three to five years of experience in admissions or relate recruitment role is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal abilities
  • Leadership and team motivation capabilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) strategies
  • Knowledge of comprehensive enrollment processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Experience with recruitment technologies and databases
