Seeking a talented and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team and uphold our commitment to excellence.

Position Overview

As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing care within our facility. You will provide leadership, guidance, and support to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to our residents. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents and contribute to the success of our nursing home.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state regulations and industry standards
  • Oversee the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care, making recommendations for improvement as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including those set forth by CMS and state licensing agencies
  • Manage departmental budget and resources effectively
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth
Qualifications
  • Degree in Nursing required;
  • Current RN license in the state of Louisiana
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

  • Excellent leadership and management abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
