New Hope is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to enriching the lives of individuals with disabilities. We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our Health Services team. In this vital leadership role, you will ensure that the individuals we serve receive exceptional medical care that enhances their health and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
As Director of Nursing, you will:
  • Uphold and implement New Hope's mission, values, and ethical standards.
  • Lead the delivery of high-quality healthcare services for individuals with disabilities.
  • Recruit, retain, and support a skilled and empowered nursing team.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and risk management requirements.
  • Champion continuous quality and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Support organizational financial sustainability through effective resource management.
  • Serve as a liaison between individuals served, families, and key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of organizational strategies and responsibilities

Requirements
Qualifications
Education:
  • Required: Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Experience:
  • Required:
    • Minimum 4 years of nursing experience
    • 1-2 years of supervisory or leadership experience
    • At least 1 year in an ICF/ID (Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities) setting
  • Preferred:
    • 2-5 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
    • 2-5 years in a nursing role as a Registered Nurse
