The Director is responsible for the development and implementation of new technology resources such as dashboards and other analytical tools to drive efficiencies in data presentation and consistency across HE&R. Additionally, the Director is responsible for ensuring communication, collaboration, consistency, standardization and the sharing of best practices throughout HE&R with regard to software, modeling, dashboards and other essential resources. This role is also responsible for the consolidation of company-wide plans including capital investments, budgets and forecasts. This position will lead and develop a team of full-time analysts.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
  • Drive the optimization and efficiency of finance procedures and processes through automation, standardization and documentation.*
  • Develop user-friendly, standardized templates for financial analysis, incorporating automation where possible.*
  • Implement and optimize tools to enhance the FP&A function as well as deliverables to non-financial partners.*
  • Partner with Information Technology and other areas of the business to advance the design and prioritization of the data warehouse, the implementation and use of business intelligence tools, and the development and deployment of key reports.*
  • Serve as a finance liaison on technological advancements to company-wide systems to ensure financial data is readily available for financial analysis, reporting, and reconciliation.*
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of consolidation for the fundamental financial planning and analysis, such as budgeting, expense monitoring, forecasting, report generation, and other tasks.*
  • Provide presentation materials to the Senior Leadership Team for routine financial updates.*
  • Provide objective assumptions and detail to assist in the development of pro formas for new initiatives and capital investments.
  • Coach and develop a team of financial professionals, providing the support necessary to achieve goals at expected standards and drive system knowledge to enhance the ease of preparation, analysis and presentation of deliverables. *
  • Assist with other projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Minimum of 12 years of related Hospitality/Tourism experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor's degree - Business Administration, Finance, Hospitality Management.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Comprehensive knowledge/experience working with advanced functions of Excel and Google Sheets, as well as other Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications, including data warehouse and SQL.
  • Expert knowledge and management of advanced planning and forecasting tools such as Workday Adaptive Planning, Workday ERP and Workday FDM.
  • Strong knowledge and management of business intelligence tools such as Google Looker, PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Strong experience leading data warehouse strategy in environments such as BigQuery, Google Cloud or Workday Prism.
  • Experience leading an enterprise business intelligence reporting team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability as a leader and team developer.
  • Able to forge strong working relationships across functions.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
