As a Financial Accountant, you'll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Perform accounting entries and ensure the complete and accurate recording of transactions in Oracle ERP.
  • Reconcile accounts, analyze variances, and ensure their timely resolution.
  • Analyze financial results, understand fluctuations, and document the underlying causes.
  • Participate in the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of internal controls.
  • Collaborate closely with business partners, including operations, actuarial, and corporate teams.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes to optimize the quality, efficiency, and reliability of financial information.
  • Prepare documentation required for audits and regulatory requests.
  • Play an active role in understanding business issues and supporting decision-making and the evolution of financial practices.

  • Has knowledge of IFRS standards as well as experience with Oracle ERP or another ERP system.
  • Has experience in the insurance industry or financial services, enabling a quicker understanding of industry-specific challenges.
  • Has an advanced level of English and French proficiency, as the role involves regularly collaborating and communicating, both verbally and in writing, with English-speaking and or French-speaking partners and teams on a regular basis.
