Job description

Dark Wolf is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to accelerate the secure delivery of mission-critical software by embedding DevSecOps practices directly into the development pipeline. The focus for this individual will be on automating deployment and security controls and building self-service platform tools to eliminate manual bottlenecks, ensuring continuous compliance and maintaining the Authority to Operate (ATO) across all environments.. This position will require hybrid support in Arlington, VA. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and assisting with ongoing development of continuous build/ integration infrastructure.
  • Supporting CI/CD tools integration, operations, change management, and maintenance.
  • Supporting full automation of CI/ testing.
  • Supporting policies, standards, guidelines, governance and related guidance for both CI/CD operations and for work of developers.
  • Working closely with software developers, production support, and information security to automate and support infrastructure and tooling in cloud-based platforms.
  • Providing guidance and applying agile and DevOps/DevSecOps practices to streamline product delivery and reliable operations of product.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to automate and save time.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT Security, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • 14+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience working with commercial cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Extensive experience with Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Container Security
  • Experience designing Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform or Ansible
  • Strong proficiency in CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or similar)
  • Experience with Linux administration and hardening
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DevSecOps processes and software supply chain security (SBOMs, signing, verification)
  • Proven experience designing, deploying, operating, and maintaining secure Cloud products and services within a Cloud-based environment to enable development teams to deliver features in the most efficient way possible
  • Proven experience providing Source Control Management/Documentation, creating and maintaining fully automated CI build processes for multiple environments
  • Experience writing, building and deploying scripts.
  • Proven experience enabling successful release management by moving code from Development and Testing environments to Staging and Production
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • US Citizenship and active Top Secret security clearance

This position will be supported at a hybrid capacity in Arlington, VA.

The estimated salary range for this position is $155,000.00 - $185,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset.
