Job description

We are excited to announce that we will be undergoing a selection process for the Director of Data & AI Enablement. This role is critical to advancing enterprise data capabilities, strengthening decision-making through trusted analytics, and leading the organization's responsible adoption of modern AI technologies.

As the Director of Data & AI Enablement, you will play a key role in shaping the organization's data and analytics strategy, modernizing enterprise reporting, and enabling AI-driven insights that improve business performance. You will partner closely with Finance, IT, and Operations to deliver integrated data solutions that drive measurable outcomes and operational excellence.
You will lead the enterprise vision for Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, and large language model (LLM)-enabled capabilities, ensuring innovation is balanced with strong data governance and ERP data integrity.
Responsibilities include:
  • Leads the enterprise data, analytics, and AI/Generative AI strategy, aligning capabilities to business priorities and measurable outcomes
  • Defines and executes enterprise AI enablement strategy, including use of Microsoft Copilot, LLMs, and automation to improve business performance
  • Owns enterprise reporting and analytics across ERP (Dynamics 365/aec360) and broader operational systems
  • Establishes and maintains scalable Power BI reporting and KPI frameworks to ensure consistent, trusted insights
  • Defines and matures a modern enterprise data platform (Microsoft Fabric/Azure) integrating ERP, operational, and system data
  • Establishes and enforces enterprise data governance, data quality, and stewardship practices across business and IT
  • Ensures AI solutions are built on trusted, governed ERP and enterprise data sources to protect data integrity
  • Enables AI and advanced analytics use cases, including predictive insights, AI-driven automation, and operational improvements
  • Drives adoption of Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate) for business and system workflow automation
  • Develops and leads cross-functional teams spanning data engineering, analytics, and enterprise applications
  • Partners with Finance, IT, and Operations leadership to prioritize and deliver high-value data initiatives
  • Establishes intake, prioritization, and delivery processes for data, reporting, and AI work
  • Monitors adoption, performance, and value delivery of enterprise data and analytics solutions
  • Other duties as assigned

This position may require travel, overnight stays, and occasional evening or weekend work as assigned.
Successful candidates will have all of the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and ten (10+) years of progressive experience in Information Technology, including leadership roles
  • Proven experience leading enterprise data, analytics, and AI/digital transformation initiatives
  • Strong expertise in Power BI and enterprise reporting frameworks
  • Experience implementing data governance and data quality programs
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across Finance, IT, and Operations
  • Hands-on experience building or leading modern data platforms (Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or similar)
  • Experience defining and executing enterprise AI strategy, including Generative AI, Copilot, or LLM-based solutions

Ideal candidates will have any/all of the following:
  • Background in AEC or project-based professional services environments with utilization, project profitability, and ERP-driven operations
  • Experience building or leading modern data platforms (Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or similar)
  • Background in professional services including engineering
  • Experience integrating multiple enterprise systems (ERP, operational, and system data)
  • Experience developing AI strategies or leading AI enablement initiatives
  • Experience leading ERP reporting modernization or transformation efforts
