WHAT WE ARE HUNGRYFOR

As the Director ofConstruction, you will be responsible for the implementation of constructionguidelines and managing all construction activities involved with new andremodeled locations. You will provide ongoing professional constructionassistance to Paris Baguette, supervise the development process, andincorporate process-driven improvements. The ideal candidate will help toachieve our vision of re-establishing the neighborhood bakery cafe as the heartof the community around the world.

KNOWLEDGE ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all facetsof the permitting through construction & punch-walk process for newlocations including construction and openings.
  • Supervise and leadthe Construction Team and processes while also managing construction of newlocations.
  • Manage preferredGeneral Contractors and source others as needed.
  • Prepare scope ofwork, project delivery requirements, guide cost estimates and riskidentification as required for projects.
  • Track progress ofall projects against approved timelines and goals. Report on project status andpotential delays and implement action plan to meet objectives for on-time cafeopening.
  • Implement company'sbusiness policies, programs, specifications and procedures related toconstruction of Paris Baguette locations.
  • Undertake allreasonable measures to ensure that agreed-to new storebuild/relocations/remodels are met for franchisee markets.
  • Provideconstruction project management support to the teams in order to ensure newopenings and redevelopments are up to corporate standards.
  • Keep abreast ofbakery/franchise industry practices regarding development plans, constructionstandards and related cost.
  • Maintain liaisonwith Paris Baguette team in order to identify, cascade, and implement globalprograms and regional initiatives.
  • Other duties, asassigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TOHAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Construction Management,or related field
  • At least 5-7 years Construction experience inCommercial/Retail/Hospitality/Entertainment industry
  • Progressive leadership experience in a fast paced andrapidly growing retail environment. Must have a proven background in multi-unitrestaurant operations leading 100+ locations.
  • Experience with a fast growing Franchise company, required.
  • Experience with high volume new store openings, required.
  • Bakery/Cafe experience preferred.
  • Flexible, adaptive, upbeat, open and visible managementstyle, with a successful record of accomplishment of managing senior operationsleaders across a large geographically decentralized portfolio.
