Senior Living General Manager/Executive Director

Our General Managers are responsible for:

  • Ensures financial performance of the community by creating, managing, and abiding by the approved budget.

  • Maintains accounting compliance by overseeing community financial records. including rent receipts, petty cash disbursements, miscellaneous income and expenditures, and payroll.

  • Maintains HR compliance by overseeing personnel records of all employees, including proper and complete documentation for all new hires, ongoing training documentation, performance evaluations, timely merit increases, and performance management.

  • Provides the Seattle office with all necessary reports on time and in the proper format.

  • Implements and enforces all policies and procedures of the Operations Manual, Food Services Manual, Team Member Handbook, and State Licensing Regulations.

  • Provides active leadership in creating and maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction in facilities, food service, activities, housekeeping, staff interactions, and resident care. Responsible for managing community to a minimum of 94% occupancy rate.

  • Monitors marketing process to ensure minimum standards are met on a weekly basis.

  • Monitors marketing software in conjunction with the Community Relations Director and Director of Sales to ensure marketing activities result in budgeted occupancy goal.

  • Monitors and reports competitor’s activities to management.

  • Maintains accountability for the overall functionality of the community.

  • Interacts regularly with Residents and attends resident functions.

  • Other duties as assigned.


If you are someone with:

  • Proficiency in computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, etc.

  • 21 Years of age with college degree (Preferred)

  • Must have 3-5 years of management experience.

This role requires regular use of a computer and may involve occasional lifting (up to 20 lbs), bending, or reaching. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
