Job Description

At Chick-fil-A Ruby & Sinto, the Director of Operations plays a vital role in leading daily restaurant operations and ensuring our guests receive a remarkable experience every time they visit.

We are looking for both an AM Director of Operations and PM Director of Operations who will work closely together to create consistency from open to close. These leaders will be highly present in the operation, developing Team Leaders, supporting Team Members, and ensuring every shift is positioned to serve our guests with excellence.

The Director of Operations consistently demonstrates our Core Values, protects and strengthens our culture, and leads with humility, ownership, and excellence. They understand that great operations start with great leadership and work alongside the team to create an environment that is organized, productive, and focused on caring for our guests.

Success in this role is measured by the consistency of our operation, the experience of our guests, and the strength of the leaders they develop.

Responsibilities
  • Lead daily restaurant operations with a primary focus on serving our guests with excellence
  • Maintain a strong presence in operations and work alongside Team Leaders and Team Members
  • Partner closely with the AM/PM Director of Operations to create consistency and alignment from open to close
  • Ensure strong communication and effective handoffs between AM and PM operations
  • Develop Team Leaders into confident, capable shift leaders
  • Coach Team Members and leaders through real-time feedback and encouragement
  • Ensure each shift is properly positioned, deployed, and prepared for expected business
  • Drive Operational Excellence across Front of House and Back of House
  • Monitor and improve speed of service, order accuracy, food quality, cleanliness, and hospitality
  • Respond quickly to operational challenges and remove barriers that impact the guest experience
  • Use restaurant performance, guest feedback, and operational observations to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Build and maintain systems that create consistency across shifts and dayparts
  • Support strong communication between Front of House and Back of House
  • Ensure opening and/or closing procedures are completed with excellence
  • Hold Team Leaders and Team Members accountable to Chick-fil-A standards and restaurant expectations
  • Create a calm, organized, and productive environment during high-volume periods
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity while maintaining a remarkable guest experience
  • Foster a positive team culture where people feel challenged, supported, and valued

  • Flexible availability based on AM or PM leadership responsibilities
  • Saturday availability required
  • Previous restaurant management or leadership experience is preferred
  • Chick-fil-A leadership experience is preferred but not required
  • Must be available to work 4 opens/closes per week
