DIRECTOR OF SAFETY

Location: Newark, DE

Sobieski Enterprise in Newark, DE is seeking a full-time Director of Safety. This senior leadership position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety programs across the organization to ensure a secure working environment for all employees and stakeholders. This role involves strategic planning to align safety initiatives with organizational goals, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices. The Director of Safety leads risk assessment efforts, incident investigations, and continuous improvement processes to minimize workplace hazards and promote a culture of safety awareness. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and external agencies is essential to maintain up-to-date safety standards and respond effectively to emerging safety challenges. Ultimately, this position drives the organization's commitment to health and safety excellence, reducing incidents and fostering a proactive safety culture throughout all operations.
