What You'll Do
The Senior Central Operations Specialist performs advanced and complex duties supporting the Central Operations department.
Responsibilities Include
  • Perform advanced processing and oversight of operational functions including wire transfer processing, ACH returns and originations, cash ordering and shipping, foreign items, mail-in deposits and ICS/CDARS
  • Deliver advanced support to branches, including IRA, CD and HSA inquiries, serving as a primary escalation point for both branch and inter-departmental inquiries
  • Oversee ATM balancing, Reg E disputes, chargebacks, non-posts, unauthorized disputes and check adjustments
  • Review, research and either accept or decline mobile deposit exceptions
  • Review all department reports for accuracy, trends and discrepancies, including balancing and reconciling correspondent and department accounts
  • Manage the processing of debit card orders, card numbers for branch issuance and instant issue plastic inventory
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual certifications and audits
  • Research suspected fraud and work with internal teams and external institutions to achieve timely resolution
  • Advise management of irregular or recurring problems and makes recommendations to improve the service provided
  • Comply with all applicable banking compliance rules and regulations, Bank policies, procedures, and UDAAP requirements
