We are hiring an Assistant, Artist Development to join the AWAL team in New York. Reporting into AWAL's SVP, Artist Development & Catalog, this role will support the Artist Development team in all functions as we partner with artists to build their fan bases and careers in new and dynamic ways.

Our ideal candidate is a creative and curious learner that has a passion for music, a proactive demeanor and is detail-oriented and highly organized.

What you'll do:
  • Provide administrative and project support for the Artist Development team.
  • Process project invoices and vendor set ups.
  • Maintain a database of tour dates and coordinate ticket buys and guest list requests.
  • Coordinate, organize, and send regular team priority project updates, release schedules, marketing assets, and links.
  • Schedule and attend meetings with team members, take notes, and circulate agendas and next steps.
  • Contribute creative marketing and content ideas to priority Artist Development projects.
  • Assist with research and reporting on current social media trends and viral tracks.
  • Maintain a calendar of key anniversaries, cultural moments, and events.
  • Provide administrative support for SVP, Artist Development and Catalog.
  • Provide office support for the New York-based AWAL team including liaising with building staff, coordinating office visitors, arranging meetings and events, and ordering supplies.
  • Provide administrative support for when CEO is in New York.

  • Experience at a music company, management company or agency.
  • You love music and are passionate about AWAL's mission to partner with independent artists to tell stories that shape culture.
  • Strong and proactive written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • A quick learner with a drive to own processes and improve them.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize through excellent time management skills, adapt to changing priorities, and manage high intensity situations while maintaining professionalism and poise.
