Job description


Senior Site Controller that will be responsible for all financial planning, reporting, accounting and compliance at the facility level. The ideal candidate will serve as a key business partner to site leadership. In addition, this resource will serve as a key business partner and act as a hands-on finance leader who is equally comfortable in the details and presenting to senior leadership, and who understands the unique demands of a government contracting and manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
  • Own all site-level financial reporting including monthly close, forecasting, and annual budgeting
  • Prepare and present financial results, variance analysis, and commentary to site and corporate leadership
  • Partner with operations and program management teams to drive cost reduction, productivity, and margin improvement
  • Manage and develop site accounting staff
  • Act as primary contact for DCAA audits and external reviews
  • Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variance analysis
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company financial policies
  • Support government contract accounting and compliance requirements including FAR and DFARS
  • Lead capital expenditure planning and tracking at the site level
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial visibility and operational efficiency
  • Coordinate with corporate finance on reporting and initiatives

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 8+ years of accounting experience, including leadership/Controller-level
  • Experience in government contracting environment
  • Knowledge of FAR, CAS, and DCAA audits (preferred)
  • Cost accounting / project accounting experience
  • Manufacturing or engineering environment preferred
  • ERP experience (Costpoint or similar preferred)
