Our Behavioral Health team works in a 150-bed inpatient facility focused on healing, safety, and innovation. Nurses benefit from a collaborative, team-oriented culture with balanced assignments and strong leadership support. We provide care across psychiatric, dual diagnosis, geriatric, and chemical dependency populations while promoting professional growth and work-life balance.

How you'll contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role will:

Assess patients and plan care within established timeframes while documenting findings according to policy
Oversee and supervise the assigned shift, ensuring smooth clinical operations
Provide leadership through delegation of tasks such as group facilitation, close observation, and patient supervision
Ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed and high-quality patient care is consistently delivered
Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately, including physician notification
Administer medications in accordance with hospital policy
Deliver compassionate care using empathy, dignity, and respect in all patient interactions
Support and execute individualized treatment plans to achieve patient goals
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current RN license in the state of Massachusetts and graduate from an accredited nursing program. Additional requirements include:

Associate's degree in nursing required; BSN preferred
Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required within 30 days of hire
De-escalation certification required within 30 days of hire
Behavioral Health, Psychiatric, or Chemical Dependency experience preferred
Experience with patient assessments, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration preferred
Strong communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills
Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
