Responsibilities

Keysight Technologies is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Director to lead our Enterprise Sales team on the West Coast. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, engaged leader, and possess a proven track record of driving revenue growth within the enterprise market while working with end customers, channel and technical partners. They will need to be hands-on, assisting on executive alignment to effectively build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

 

Leadership and Strategy:

  1. Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue and market share in the West Coast.
  2. Provide leadership to the Enterprise Sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

Customer & Partner Engagement:

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise customers and channel partners, understanding their business needs and aligning solutions accordingly.
  2. Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring the highest level of service and support throughout the sales process.

Team Management:

  1. Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team capable of exceeding revenue targets.
  2. Conduct regular performance evaluations, set clear expectations, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
  3. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that promotes innovation and continuous improvement.

Revenue Growth:

  1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  2. Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
  3. Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions and adjustments to the sales approach.

Qualifications
  1.  8+ years of sales team management experience, specifically within Enterprise sales
  2.  12+ years prior experience selling solutions in a quota-carrying role
  3.  Track record of building, coaching, and enabling a growing team
  4.  Willingness to travel 50% or more as needed

Preferred Job Qualifications

  1.  10+ years of prior leadership experience managing Enterprise sales with focus on network monitoring, observability and security
  2.  15+ years of experience selling solution in a quota-carrying role
  3.  BS in Engineering or equivalent
  4.  Capacity to work on cross-functional projects and teams as needed as well as leverage internal resources to problem-solve
  5.  Quota-attainment record of meeting and/or exceeding targets by managing process for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business as well as and not limited to growing an existing install base
  6.  Strong verbal and written communication skills – includes excellent reporting and forecasting skills.
