Position Summary

The Senior Director of Infrastructure & Cybersecurity is responsible for leading Elevo Learning's cloud infrastructure, identity management, cybersecurity, compliance, and enterprise technology operations. This role ensures the reliability, scalability, and security of all corporate technology platforms while enabling business growth through modern cloud architecture and automation.

This leader will develop and execute Elevo's infrastructure and cybersecurity strategy in a Microsoft Azure-first environment, partnering closely with business leaders and the application development team to deliver secure, resilient, and efficient technology services.

Key Responsibilities Cloud Infrastructure & Operations
  • Lead the design, administration, and optimization of Microsoft's Azure cloud environment.
  • Maintain highly available, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure.
  • Manage Azure networking, storage, compute, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Develop infrastructure standards, governance, and operational best practices.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 administration, including Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Intune.
  • Drive infrastructure automation using Infrastructure-as-Code and scripting where appropriate.
Cybersecurity
  • Develop and maintain Elevo's enterprise cybersecurity strategy.
  • Lead vulnerability management, endpoint protection, threat detection, and incident response.
  • Oversee Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra ID security, Conditional Access, MFA, and Zero Trust initiatives.
  • Establish security awareness training and company-wide cybersecurity policies.
  • Manage security audits, penetration testing, and remediation activities.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security requirements and customer data protection commitments.
  • Identity & Access Management
  • Own Microsoft Entra ID administration.
  • Manage SSO, identity lifecycle management, role-based access controls, and privileged access.
  • Ensure secure onboarding and offboarding processes.
IT Operations
  • Lead Service Desk and IT support operations.
  • Define service levels, operational metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee endpoint lifecycle management, device security, software deployment, and asset management.
Leadership
  • Build, mentor, and lead Infrastructure and Security teams.
  • Develop technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage vendor relationships and technology budgets.
  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives and technology planning.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience.
  • 5+ years managing enterprise cloud infrastructure.
  • Deep expertise with Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Defender, Intune, and Azure networking.
  • Experience leading cybersecurity programs.
  • Strong understanding of Zero Trust architecture.
  • Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.

This position's target annual base pay range is $150,000 - $175,000. Final pay determinations may depend on various factors including, but not limited to, experience level, education, geographical location, knowledge, and skills.
