L3Harris is seeking a Logistics Engineering Specialist to support our expanding product portfolio at our Sterling, VA facility. In this role, you'll provide critical program support across multiple areas including asset management and tracking, obsolescence mitigation strategies, component inspection and quality assurance, and training event coordination and support. Essential Functions: 

Roles & Responsibilities as individual contributor will include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Support an efficient PHS&T system which introduces minimal organizational delay time or errors, and results in material shipments at the "right place at the right time", thus improving system availability and lowering overall life cycle cost 
  • Interface daily with PHS&T Lead and Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) to ensure all SMD PHS&T needs are being met 
  • Perform asset and equipment audits on customer and company owned property as directed 
  • Identify, plan, and report the availability and usability of packing materials to PHS&T Lead and/or IPTL 
  • Process, track, and close-out the shipment of products to and from customer sites, the depot, and possibly OEMs 
  • Monitor and track the movement of supplies from the stock rooms to operational support in the field 
  • Support depot specific operations as directed 
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. 
  • Assist in innovating the strategies for tracking program assets and spare parts to maximize efficiency
  • Ability to lift 45 lbs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
  • Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly required

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Sunflower EAM Tool Experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and computer proficiency
  • Forklift certified
  • High attention to detail and well-organized
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Virginia is $76,500 - $141,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
