Founded in 2018, SoulShine Farms has quickly grown to be a local further-processing poultry industry leader. Our work revolves around our values, our people, and our dedication to quality.
SoulShine Farms is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to help maintain accurate inventory records and strengthen inventory control processes across our operations. This role focuses on packaging, ingredients, labels, and other production materials and is well suited for someone who enjoys working with data, investigating discrepancies, and solving problems with cross-functional teams. The Inventory Analyst will report to the Director of Purchasing and Inventory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor inventory transactions and help ensure records are accurate and updated on time.
    Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Coordinate cycle counts, including scheduling, documentation, reconciliation, and follow-up.
  • Review inventory adjustments and movements between locations.
  • Support month-end inventory reconciliation and timely issue resolution.
  • Analyze inventory trends, variances, aging, obsolete inventory, and slow-moving items.
  • Maintain inventory reports, dashboards, and recurring performance updates.
  • Recommend practical improvements to inventory processes, controls, and system accuracy.
  • Partner with Operations, Procurement, Warehousing, Production, Scheduling, Finance, and Food Safety and Quality.

Required Qualifications
  • Two or more years of experience in inventory control, inventory analysis, warehousing, production, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience using an ERP, inventory-management, or warehouse-management system.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, problem-solving, and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to hear, speak, read, and comprehend communications in English.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Food manufacturing, high-volume production, inventory dashboards, cycle-count programs, or continuous improvement.
  • Associate degree in business, supply chain, operations, accounting, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Environment
This position is based in Gainesville, Georgia with occasional travel between production facilities.
