Hybrid Every other week onsite/5 days in Westlake, TX. Fully on site for Smithfield, RI and Merrimack, NH

Our client seeks an Internal Communications Specialist to distill complex technology, product, and delivery concepts into clear narratives and visuals for diverse internal audiences. The role will connect technology teams, product partners, and business stakeholders to drive alignment on priorities, progress, and outcomes. You will apply storytelling frameworks, create visual artifacts, and tailor messages to support transparency, change adoption, and decision-making in a matrixed environment.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $60.00 to $67.00/hr. w2


Responsibilities:
  • Translate technology, product, and delivery updates into concise messaging aligned to business goals and outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver executive presentations, storytelling decks, talking points, visuals, infographics, and written summaries.
  • Partner with product leaders, technology delivery teams, and business stakeholders to shape clear narratives that support alignment and decision-making.
  • Apply storytelling frameworks to communicate roadmaps, tradeoffs, risks, progress, and value realization.
  • Create visuals and diagrams that simplify complex systems, processes, and concepts.
  • Support change communications for new capabilities, processes, and delivery milestones.
  • Tailor messaging for executives, product teams, technology partners, and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure communications are accurate, consistent, and aligned with brand and communication standards.
  • Identify communication gaps and recommend solutions that improve transparency, engagement, and clarity.
  • Manage multiple communication initiatives while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
  • Improve communication processes, standards, and reusable assets.

Experience Requirements:
  • Ideally 2+ years of experience in communications, storytelling, or content development supporting technology, product, or delivery teams.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication with ability to simplify complex topics without losing precision.
  • Experience creating visual content including presentation decks, videos, graphics, and journey maps.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint and visual storytelling tools, with familiarity in design principles and layout best practices.
  • Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, including video creation and motion design.
  • Experience working in matrixed, cross-functional environments and partnering with UXD.
  • Self-directed and organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail orientation with a commitment to accuracy, consistency, and quality.
  • Ability to adapt communication style based on audience needs and feedback.
  • Video marketing, editing, and animation (preferred).

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
