Job description

Title: Business Development Director ~ Intel

Location: Alexandria, VA

US Citizenship: Required

Clearance: TS/SCI w/ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Intelligence (LoB), responsible for customer/teammate engagement, and strategy development, pipeline development and pursuit of opportunities
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, shaping, and capturing new business opportunities within the DoD and IC.
  • Manage pipelines, build senior-level customer relationships, and direct proposal efforts for complex, long-term technical solutions
  • Develop and grow the opportunity pipeline through timely identification and qualification of new business opportunities
  • Identify, develop, and maintain strong customer relationships with senior-level officials and IC program stakeholders
  • Identify key growth areas and develop new business aligned with corporate strategy
  • Lead and participate in gate reviews, capture activities, proposal color team reviews, pricing, and business case development
  • Represent the team at Invictus business development meetings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field required, Master's preferred
  • A minimum of 12 years of relevant business development and capture experience within the DoD and IC
  • Strong understanding of defense acquisition processes (FAR/DFAR), military platforms, and technical subject matter
  • Comfortable speaking within customer spaces and interacting with personnel on all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders
  • The ability to establish and maintain relationships as the "go to" partner for difficult problems within customer spaces
  • Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a and SCI and CI polygraph
