Preschool Director – Early Childhood Education
Location: The Learning Experience – Franklin, MA
Pay: $70,000–$80,000 per year, based on experience
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Lead an Exceptional Early Childhood Education Team
The Learning Experience – Franklin is seeking an experienced Center Director to lead our school with a strong focus on educational excellence, operational success, and team development. This leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys coaching educators, building meaningful relationships with families, and creating an engaging environment where children and staff can thrive.
As Center Director, you will oversee the daily operations of the school while ensuring compliance, supporting enrollment growth, developing teachers, and maintaining the high standards that families expect from The Learning Experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall leadership for the center's daily operations, educational programs, and staff
  • Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of early childhood educators
  • Ensure full compliance with all Massachusetts EEC licensing regulations and company standards
  • Promote exceptional classroom quality and support continuous teacher development
  • Build strong relationships with current and prospective families to drive enrollment and retention
  • Monitor center performance, staffing, budgets, and operational goals
  • Foster a positive, collaborative culture for children, families, and employees
  • Partner with ownership to implement strategic initiatives and achieve business objectives
Qualifications
  • Massachusetts Director I and Director II Certification required

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of two years of leadership experience in a licensed early childhood education center
  • Demonstrated success leading teams, improving operations, and supporting enrollment growth
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for developing educators and delivering exceptional early childhood programs
