The Opportunity 
As a Tax Innovation - Software Engineering Director, you will lead the charge in developing innovative software solutions that drive digital transformation and enhance business performance. Within our Tax practice, you will focus on designing, coding, and testing applications that revolutionize industries and deliver exceptional user experiences. As a Director, you will set the strategic direction and lead business development efforts, making impactful decisions and overseeing multiple projects while maintaining executive-level stakeholder relations. You are expected to be a guardian of PwC's reputation, understanding that quality, integrity, inclusion, and a commercial mindset are foundational to our success. 

In this role at PwC, you will cultivate potential in others and actively collaborate across the PwC Network, leveraging our collective strength. You will develop new ideas, solutions, and structures, driving thought leadership and promoting technological advances. Responsibilities 


- Leading the development and implementation of innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation 
- Overseeing the design, coding, and testing of applications to enhance business performance and user experience 
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address software engineering challenges 
- Driving business growth by identifying market gaps and converting opportunities into successful software products 
- Mentoring and guiding the next generation of software engineers to cultivate their potential 
- Promoting technological advances and fostering an environment where people and technology thrive together 
- Managing stakeholder relationships and confirming the delivery of exceptional software solutions 
- Utilizing programming languages such as .Net, Java &, Python to develop scalable applications 
- Implementing continuous integration and delivery practices to streamline software development processes 
- Confirming compliance with professional and technical standards within software engineering projects 

What You Must Have 
- At least a Bachelor's degree 
- At least 8 years of experience 
What Sets You Apart 

- Leading strategic software engineering initiatives 
- Driving innovation in tax software solutions 
- Excelling in stakeholder relationship management 
- Utilizing Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) 
- Implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)  

- Production experience with .Net, Java, & Python programming languages

- Production experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services

- Production experience with ADLC and AI coding tools 
- Managing enterprise application architecture and integration

Job Posting End Date

The salary range for this position is: $150,000 - $438,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
