Your Impact
As a Director, Information Technology, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and execution of all IT solutions including infrastructure, cyber security, business systems, digital innovation, and data strategy. Your efforts will directly contribute to LBB Specialties’s success by supporting the technology planning process, guiding the delivery of projects, and services to business teams throughout the organization while partnering with key stakeholders to define the overarching long-term IT strategy and portfolio of solutions in partnership with the CFO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support refinement and execution of the IT strategy and investments aligned with the company’s business and growth objectives.
  • Identify and implement best practices that will support the organization’s future needs.
  • Act as a business partner to cross-functional team members to identify and implement technology-driven opportunities that improve efficiency, innovation, and scalability to create a competitive advantage in the marketplace while delivering measurable business impact.
  • Oversee and execute regular IT audits, enterprise risk evaluations, and compliance meetings with CFO and/or other key stakeholders to ensure alignment between IT strategies, business objectives, and operational capacities.
  • Oversee the design, implementation and management of robust, secure and scalable IT infrastructure to support business operations.
  • Ensure optimal performance, enhancements, and reliability of critical business systems, including ERP, CRM, and reporting tools.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Conduct performance reviews and provide opportunities for professional growth.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of business processes, industry trends, and best practices to ensure IT solutions are in line with the evolving market.
  • Maintain comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect sensitive data and proprietary information.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and service agreements for ERP, CRM, hardware, software, cloud, and managed services.
  • Support the development of and own the execution of the annual IT operating and capital budget.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business administration or a related field required.
  • 8+ years of progressive IT experience including 5 years in an IT leadership role managing teams, external vendors, applications, ERP, etc.
  • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure, ERP systems, CRM systems, and Microsoft Fabric (running Epicor P21 and Microsoft Dynamics as ERP and CRM systems, respectively).
  • Strong knowledge of SQL; experience with C# (or other object oriented code) and APIs to read and write data from one system to another.
  • Excellent computer skills, attention to detail, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, results-driven approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
