Director, Strategic Accounts - North East

Labcorp is seeking a field-based Director, Strategic Accounts to join our Specialty Oncology team supporting the North Eastterritory.The ideal person will be located within CT, NY, MA, NH, NJ or PA.

Responsibilities

National Oncology Opportunity Development

Identify, originate, and advance top-down enterprise oncology opportunities across assigned accounts.

Lead executive-level discussions spanning oncology diagnostics, specialty testing, and advanced solutions.

Drive system-wide standardization, contracting, and multi-site adoption.

Evaluate and strategically position opportunities within each unique oncology ecosystem.

Health System & IDN Enterprise Leadership

Serve as the single national oncology point of contact for assigned Health Systems and IDNs.

Build and maintain relationships with C-suite leaders, cancer service line executives, and oncology stakeholders.

Align oncology strategy across academic, community, and outpatient care settings.

Divisional Alignment & Execution

Partner closely with regional and divisional sales teams to execute enterprise strategies.

Translate national opportunities into actionable local execution plans.

Ensure strong coordination, accountability, and successful handoffs between national and field teams.

Portfolio-Based Oncology Selling

Represent and sell the full oncology portfolio, including:

Specialty and advanced diagnostics

Precision oncology and molecular solutions

Oncology informatics, workflow, and enterprise services

Digital and integration solutions (e.g., EDI, EPIC Aura)

Position offerings as enterprise-level oncology solutions, not transactional services.

Incorporate additional solutions (e.g., kit-based programs) as appropriate.

Opportunity Governance & Pipeline Management

Maintain visibility into the enterprise oncology pipeline across assigned accounts.

Provide regular updates on progress, barriers, and wins to senior leadership.

Share best practices and replicate successful models across the national team.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelors degree with 7 years of experience, or Associate degree with 9 years of experience, or HSD/GED equivalent with 11 years of experience in oncology, diagnostics, or related healthcare sectors.

7 years of demonstrated success in enterprise or national-level sales and business development.

Preferred Qualifications

7 years of sales experience within oncology diagnostics, precision medicine, or molecular testing.

Additional Job Standards

Familiarity with value-based care models and enterprise healthcare strategy.

Strong understanding of health system dynamics, IDNs, and oncology service lines.

Proven ability to engage and influence C-suite stakeholders

Experience leading complex, multi-site, and multi-stakeholder initiatives.

Ability to travel as required for national account coverage (up to 30%)

Experience working across cross-functional commercial and operational teams.

Enterprise Leadership - align strategy with organizational objectives and drive large-scale transformation initiatives.

Strategic Selling & Innovation: Identify and unlock new enterprise opportunities through innovative, solution-based selling.

Collaboration & Influence: effectively partner across national, regional, and functional teams while influencing without direct authority.

About the Role

The National Strategic Director will act as a strategic partner and decision point to develop and drive strategy and tactics to strengthen and grow an assigned group of strategic accounts, and new strategic partnership opportunities.

Pay Range:$170,000.00 - $200,000.00

All job offers will bebased on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicabledegrees/certifications,as well as internal equity and market data.The position is also eligible for bonus and/or commissions under the applicable variable compensation plan. Bonus/commissions are earned based on achievement of performance metrics under the plan.

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
