Bethany Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking an experienced and dedicated Housekeeping & Laundry Director to lead our Environmental Services Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, families, and staff.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader who is passionate about maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and resident satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments.
  • Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping and laundry staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including infection control and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and quality assurance programs.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of housekeeping and laundry supplies.
  • Ensure resident rooms, common areas, and facility grounds are clean, organized, and well-maintained.
  • Manage departmental budgets and control expenses.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to resident and family concerns.
  • Participate in facility surveys and regulatory inspections.
  • Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Previous housekeeping or environmental services leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Long-Term Care, Hospital, or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of infection control, sanitation practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in staffing, scheduling, and departmental budgeting.
