Job description

Industrial Automation Engineer

Location: Greer, SC or Troy, MI (relocation to Toledo, OH in 2027)

Salary: $90000 to$115,000

Our client is seeking an Industrial Automation Engineer to serve as a key Siemens PLC resource, supporting automation, robotics, and vision system initiatives across their U.S. manufacturing network.

What you'll be doing?
  • Lead automation initiatives across multiple U.S. plants, serving as a strong Siemens PLC resource
  • Manage project scope, budget, and technical data transfer to development and plant teams
  • Support plant operations on Vision, PLC/HMI, and Robotic equipment issues
  • 30-50% domestic travel ongoing
What you'll need?
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 5 years of experience as a Robotics or PLC Specialist
  • Strong Siemens PLC knowledge required; FANUC Robot experience preferred
  • Fluent English required
