San Antonio Counseling Services is excited to announce an opening for the role of Senior Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). This full-time, remote position allows for the flexibility of working from home while making a significant impact on the mental health landscape of our community. This role operates in a fully remote setting, allowing for the convenience of home-based work. As part of a collaborative and supportive practice, you'll connect with colleagues and clients through virtual platforms, utilizing advanced telehealth technology to facilitate effective counseling sessions. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health and treatment needs through intake interviews and standardized assessments.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans for clients facing challenges such as substance abuse, anxiety disorders, depression, and emotional trauma.
• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques and therapeutic modalities tailored to client needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of progress notes, treatment plans, and client communications to ensure effective care and compliance.
• Supervise therapeutic activities and community-based programs, ensuring they're aligned with best practices and organizational goals.
• Collaborate with families, medical professionals, and community resources to coordinate comprehensive support for clients.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on best practices in mental health counseling.
• Engage in regular case consultations with colleagues to foster continuous learning and professional growth.

In this position, you will primarily serve a diverse group of clients including adolescents, adults, and families who are navigating various mental health challenges. Clients may struggle with issues such as substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns. Your role will be crucial in helping them successfully manage their conditions, access resources, and achieve their personal goals in a supportive and understanding environment.

• A Master's degree in counseling or a related field along with an active LPC license in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in clinical practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and the ability to tailor interventions to meet diverse client needs.
• Proven ability to establish trusting relationships with clients and their support systems, fostering an environment conducive to healing and growth.

• Experience in teletherapy and familiarity with digital counseling platforms is highly desirable.
• Prior involvement working with specialized populations such as veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, or those with co-occurring disorders.
• Healthcare documentation experience, specifically within electronic health records (EHR) systems, is preferred.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
