About the Role:

The Senior Director of Operations in the Health Care and Social Assistance industry is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational functions of healthcare facilities or organizations to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and services. This role involves strategic planning, resource management, and process improvement to enhance efficiency, compliance, and patient satisfaction across multiple departments or locations. The Senior Director will lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders, and implement best practices to meet regulatory requirements and organizational goals. They will also analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for innovation, driving continuous improvement initiatives. Ultimately, this position plays a critical role in aligning operational strategies with the mission and vision of the healthcare organization to support sustainable growth and excellence in care delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations or a related sector.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Proven ability to manage large teams and complex projects within a healthcare environment.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working in multi-site healthcare organizations or large health systems.
  • Certification in healthcare management or quality improvement (e.g., FACHE, CPHQ).

Responsibilities:
