Lee Hill Early Learning Center is seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Childcare Center Director to lead our nature-based program. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who values high-quality early childhood education, builds positive relationships with families and staff, and is committed to fostering a nurturing and supportive environment for children.

Position Summary

The Childcare Center Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the center, ensuring compliance with state licensing regulations, supporting and mentoring staff, maintaining strong family relationships, and promoting a positive culture throughout the program.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of center operations, including staffing, enrollment, and program management.
  • Ensure compliance with New Hampshire childcare licensing regulations and health and safety standards.
  • Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development opportunities for teachers.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive workplace culture.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and community partners.
  • Manage enrollment, tours, and family communications.
  • Maintain accurate records and required documentation.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that support program quality.
