Position Summary:

Looking for a job that lets your creativity come to life through events and employee recognition programs? Apply now- this position will be responsible for conceptualizing, organizing and executing creative and unique internal events, ensuring alignment with organizations vision and objectives. This position resides within the Human Resources Department and provides administrative support to the team. As the face of HR, this person will demonstrate positive energy and image while meeting and exceeding the needs of our external and internal guests.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for organizing and managing over 30 internal team-member events throughout the year including events such as parties, picnics, staff appreciation day, employee outings, etc.
  • Works with Human Resources Director and VP Human Resources to develop concepts and themes for various events and recognition programs.
  • Creating event schedules and timelines.
  • Manage events budget and track all expenses.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including set up, decorations and working with AV teams.
  • Oversee and maintain communication with appropriate parties for RSVP and invite list tracking.
  • Develop new and manage current employee recognition programs.
  • Assists in producing and distributing monthly employee newsletter as assigned.
  • Conducts basic HRIS system duties such as team member updates and verification of employment reports.
  • Provides HR support; fielding and redirecting calls and emails and other administrative duties as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Skills preferred:

  • Degree in Event Management, Human Resources, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Spanish speaking desired.
  • Proven track record of planning and executing events of various sizes. Successful in providing administrative support.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and creativity abilities.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Creative problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to unexpected challenges.
