Job description

Remotely out of the US with focus on US/European markets

Responsible for generating sales from new customers or existing customers within the Healthcare Sales organization. Responsible for ensuring customer trust and satisfaction. Maintains contact with the customer at multiple levels focusing on new business growth. Works with Sr. management and Business Units in developing target customers, strategic plans, and customer interaction. Focus will be spread between Diagnostic and Medical Device customers. Leverage knowledge and experience in healthcare manufacturing solutions to drive organic and vertical to virtual solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Business Strategy and Direction
  • Define, develop, and implement a sales strategy, which contributes to the corporate sales strategic direction.
  • Develop trust with customer or potential customer.
  • Understand the Jabil selling process: Prospecting; Preapproach-planning the sale; Approach; Need Assessment; Presentation; Meeting Objections; Gaining commitment; and Follow-up.
  • Qualify new potential customers with guidance from Sr. Management.
  • Develop an understanding of the work cell and business unit strategies as it pertains to sales.
  • Work closely with Business Development, Operations, Business Unit, Engineering to build out meaningful growth solutions.
  • Knowledge of SalesForce and its use to target new customers.
Forecast Development and Accuracy
  • Prepare timely forecasts for the sales department.
  • Provide customer sales strategies and monitor their progress.
  • Compare forward forecast results to historical actual results for trend assessment and analysis.
Technical Responsibilities
  • Create customer /product penetration strategies for both new and existing accounts based on product lifecycle analysis.
  • Interpret and communicate customer requirements to enable development of services and operational capabilities to support new customers and business opportunities.
  • Develop RFQ analysis and present formal presentation to customer; ensure key financial measures are achieved within each quote, including profitability and RONA targets.
  • Promote Jabilโ€™s capabilities, footprint, and services.
  • Lead commercial negotiations with new customers.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
  • Healthcare contract manufacturing and or OEM expertise related to growing sales.
  • Successful track record of growing sales and leveraging customer rolodex.
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and communicate regarding technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Ability to interact at multiple levels within an account and establish or leverage long-term relationships.
  • Ability to act in the best interest of the client and company to provide sustainable and credible solutions.
  • Ability to understand and negotiate from a PnL.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Strong financial and analytical ability. Proficiency in managing business analytics to determine optimum solution.
  • Strong and convincing communication skills.
  • Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and eโ€‘mail skills required.
  • 30-40% travel
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business or related area preferred.
  • 5-7 years Jabil, OEM or comparable contract manufacturing experience preferred or a combination of education, experience, and/or training.
