Are you a technical expert in tooling and equipment who thrives on leading complex projects and driving measurable results? As a Principal Tooling Engineer, you will serve as a recognized subject matter expert, shaping strategy, elevating standards, and delivering high-impact solutions across our manufacturing operations.
This is a high-visibility role where technical depth meets leadership influence. Project Leadership and Management

Drive and manage the execution of tooling/equipment projects

Develop and manage gate closure in the gated management process

Ensure the delivery of project deliverables, including larger scopes

Process Development and Compliance:

Develop and manage specifications.

Lead and manage design review processes.

Manage and ensure compliance with standards and requirements.

Part Design and Development Guidance:

Guide and direct part design and development efforts

Develop and manage tool/equipment qualification efforts

Cross-Functional Team Leadership:

Lead, guide, and participate in cross-functional teams

Knowledge Base Contribution and Mentorship:

Contribute, mentor, and provide training for the team's development

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Qualifications:

7+ years of relevant experience, including experience in GE Appliances.

Bachelor's degree OR tooling certification, with a hands-on approach.

Lean Leader certification; Six Sigma/Lean experience

Certified instructor in RJG (RJG Inc.) processes.

Proficient in applying GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to drawing review.

Experienced and hands-on expertise in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) for part and mold design.

Proficiency in CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering).

Highly capable in MS Office applications
