Food Service Coordinator
$16.00-$18.50 an hour
Position Summary:
Operational responsibility and maintenance of all Food Service products, services, equipment, policies and procedures. Process customers in a manner that enhances the business and maintenance of the facility to support customer satisfaction and sales growth. Operational responsibility and direction of Food Service staff in the absence of the Food Service Manager.
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum one year Food Service experience or two years general retail experience with some exposure to Food Service processes and procedures, preferred. Successful completion of all company sponsored Sales Associate, applicable RTO training and food related training. Ability to provide exceptional customer service. Candidate may also be required to successfully complete additional certifications for this position to include, but not limited to, ServSafe or equivalent Food Service Program, franchise-specific certification requirement (e.g. Subway) Alcohol Certification (ABC) and Tobacco Certification.
Major Accountabilities:
Daily preparation, presentation and display of required Food Service products. Maintenance of daily health, safety and sanitation standards. Accountable to the Food Service Manager and the Store Manager. Daily preparation and posting of required store reports, preparation and utilization of daily food planner, and inventory management. Policy and procedure enforcement. Customer satisfaction, safety and security awareness. Assist in the training and development of store staff. Completion of tasks assigned by the Food Service Manager and the Store Manager. Performance of routine Sales Associate tasks/responsibilities, as directed by the Store Manager.
