Medical Director amp; Skilled Nursing Facility Primary Care Physician (MD/DO)

Location: Brevard, NC 28904
Position Type: W2 | Part-Time or Full-Time | Flexible Schedule

Practice Setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities (Post-Acute amp; Long-Term Care)
Compensation: *Offering a $20,000 sign-on bonus* Uncapped wRVU potential at $32/wRVU. Average visit is 2.3 wRVU. $1,910 Medical Director monthly stipend per covered facility (10 hour Medical Director commitment per month per facility). Depending on facility coverage commitment, annualized estimate ranges from $89K/year for covering our smallest facility (76 beds) up to $422K/year for covering our four facilities in the region (375 beds).


Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physician (MD/DO) to join our team in a dual-role position providing on-site primary care services within skilled nursing facilities while serving as Medical Director. This role includes fully funded participation in Certified Medical Director (CMD) training, offering an excellent pathway into clinical leadership.

Clinical Responsibilities

Medical Director Responsibilities amp; CMD Training

Physicians in this role will also function as Medical Director for assigned skilled nursing facilities while receiving sponsored Certified Medical Director (CMD) training.

CMD certification is not required to begin. All training expenses are fully funded.
