The Role at a glance:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Finance to serve as a key financial business partner to our Corrections Segment. This role is an integral member of the segment leadership team and will have broad visibility across Elior North America's operations and long-term growth strategy.

The Director of Finance will act as the primary finance partner to the Segment President and Chief Financial Officer, providing strategic financial leadership, accountability, and insight to support operational performance and profitable growth. This individual will play a critical role in financial planning, forecasting, capital oversight, month-end close participation, and ownership of segment financial statements.

This is an opportunity to take full ownership of the financial operations within one of Elior's fastest-growing segments and help drive performance through data, discipline, and strong partnership.

What you'll be doing:
  • Serve as the senior-most finance leader for the Corrections Segment, owning all financial strategy, performance, and accountability for the business.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the Segment President and segment leadership team, influencing key operational and growth decisions.
  • Own the full P&L for the segment by driving profitability, margin improvement, disciplined cost management.
  • Own the annual budget, monthly forecasts, and long-range planning processes - ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and performance targets.
  • Provide forward-looking financial insights, scenario modeling, and risk analysis to proactively guide business decisions.
  • Establish, monitor, and refine KPIs that drive operational performance and financial transparency across the segment.
  • Oversee capital planning, investment analysis, and return modeling to support growth and contract expansion.
  • Partner closely with operations leadership to improve contract performance and compliance, pricing strategies, labor management, and cost controls.
  • Ensure financial integrity through oversight of month-end close, reporting accuracy, internal controls, and compliance.
  • Identify process improvements and scalability opportunities as the segment continues to grow.
  • Represent the segment in executive-level financial reviews with the CFO and corporate leadership.
What we're looking for:
  • Must-haves
    • Minimum of 8+ years of progressive finance experience, with increasing scope and leadership responsibility
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
    • Strong working knowledge in GAAP or IFRS accounting standards is required
    • Proven experience leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis
    • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate complex financial insights clearly to senior leadership
    • Demonstrated success partnering with operations leaders to drive accountability and business results
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to build financial models and executive-level presentations
    • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
    • High attention to detail combined with the ability to see the broader strategic picture
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with evolving priorities
    • Self-starter who demonstrates initiative, ownership, and a solutions-oriented approach
    • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence across functions
    • Must be able to work in-office four days per week and travel approximately 5-10% as needed

Where you'll be working:

This role is based at our corporate headquarters located at 4920 Westway Park Blvd., Houston, TX 77041, with an in-office schedule Monday through Thursday and remote work on Fridays.

Compensation Range

ย $150,000.00 to $195,000.00, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
