The role acts as a proactive advisor to management, contributing financial insights and strategic recommendations that support profitable growth, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage.Partner cross-functionally with business and functional units to support productivity improvements, process optimization, and strategic initiatives. The right candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset and a tendency towards 5S in the workplace.
How you create impact
The right candidate will serve as a strategic business partner to leadership, driving profitability, growth, productivity, and process improvements.
โ€ข Lead the US Controlling team and maintain strong alignment with Corporate Controlling.
โ€ข Oversee timely and accurate month-end close, annual target-setting, and quarterly forecasting processes.
โ€ข Manage investment reviews, business case development, cost-saving initiatives, and new business evaluations.
โ€ข Represent Finance in pricing and RFP processes, ensuring accurate costing, sound assumptions, and compliance with accounting standards.
โ€ข Identify and mitigate financial risks through contract reviews, pricing oversight, and senior-level discussions.
โ€ข Monitor business performance, analyze P&Ls, perform gap analyses, and drive cost control and procurement support.
โ€ข Champion standardization, continuous improvement, tool development, and employee development within Contract Logistics Controlling.
โ€ข Ensure governance and full compliance with financial controlling policies through direct oversight of local analysts and support staff.
