Job description

The group you'll be a part of
You will join Global Field Operations working under the Customer Support Business Group (CSBG).
The impact you'll make
  • Directs the coordination of technical and administrative support activities including installation, repair, preventive maintenance and engineering change upgrades to be performed at client sites.
  • Ensures adequate records and systems are maintained.
  • Schedules personnel responding to critical situations.
  • Maintains communication with design management and specialists in resolving technical problems and/or bringing problems to the design department's attention.
  • Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

What you'll do
  • Lead a dedicated installation workforce located across multiple countries.
  • Drive on-time arrival, safety, workmanship quality, cost, and job scope performance.
  • Own installation performance to customer commit for schedule and budget.
  • Partner cross-functionally to resolve regional account issues.
  • Develop leaders and succession pipelines.
  • Develop and establish strategic initiatives and business processes for new workforce capacity sizing and delivery models.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to size capacity and coordinate across global account teams.
  • Responsible for quarterly operational and financial planning reviews.
  • Develop vendors and participate in service and pricing negotiations.
  • Travel to Asia up to 50% for the first year and down to 20% thereafter.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 10+ years of Field Service experience and 5+ years in management. An advanced degree preferred.

'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary
CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $133,000.00 - $292,000.00.
The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
