Job description

Capstone Search Advisors is partnering with a growing and well-established provider of commercial laundry solutions to identify a talented Field Technical Manager – Commercial Laundry Systems.


Installations | Programming | Service | Technical Support


Location: Home Office / Remote

Headquarters: Cleveland, Ohio

Travel: Regular travel, including overnight travel

Compensation: $70,000–$80,000 Base Salary + Commission/Bonus, Car Allowance.


ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY


We are seeking a Field Technical Manager – Commercial Laundry Systems to take ownership of installations, programming, troubleshooting, service, and technical support for commercial laundry auto-dosing and dispensing systems.


This is a highly hands-on technical leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems in the field, working directly with customers and equipment manufacturers, and serving as the technical expert for commercial laundry systems.


The position offers the flexibility of a home office, with periodic travel to the company's Cleveland, Ohio headquarters for meetings, training, and collaboration.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Lead the installation, startup, programming, and commissioning of commercial laundry auto-dosing and dispensing systems.
  • Troubleshoot pumps, injection systems, electronic controls, machine interfaces, and related equipment.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to customers, contractors, distributors, and internal teams.
  • Diagnose equipment and system issues and develop practical solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Work directly with commercial laundry customers to understand technical requirements and ensure successful system implementation.
  • Serve as a technical liaison with equipment manufacturers, technology partners, contractors, and other vendors.
  • Support equipment configuration, programming, testing, and system optimization.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to customers, service personnel, and other stakeholders.
  • Document installations, troubleshooting activities, system configurations, and service requirements.
  • Assist with evaluating new equipment, technologies, and solutions for the company's commercial laundry applications.
  • Travel regularly to customer locations and project sites, including overnight travel as needed.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Experience in field service, installation, technical support, or technical management.
  • Experience with commercial dispensing, chemical dosing, pumping, or fluid-handling equipment.
  • Experience programming and troubleshooting pumps, injection systems, electronic controls, and machine interfaces.
  • Familiarity with vended/commercial washer and dryer platforms.
  • Experience working directly with equipment manufacturers and technology partners.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability.
  • Ability to read technical documentation, wiring diagrams, or equipment specifications.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly, including overnight travel.
  • Commercial laundry, chemical dispensing, water treatment, industrial equipment, or related technical experience is highly desirable.
