Capstone Search Advisors specializes in placing top talent in the science field. We are currently looking for a Color Shader for a top client in the Cleveland area.

The Color Shader is responsible for manufacturing, tinting, testing, and packaging products in accordance with established quality standards, customer specifications, and safety requirements. This position plays a critical role in ensuring product consistency through color matching, batch adjustments, raw material handling, quality control testing, and accurate documentation while maintaining a safe and organized work environment

Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm (half hour lunch) Monday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce batches by weighing, mixing, grinding, and processing raw materials according to batch tickets and specifications.
• Tint and adjust batches to meet product and customer color standards using color spectrophotometers and related software.
• Maintain approved color standards, batch records, and complete lot traceability
• Operate production equipment including pumps, tanks, valves, filters, sand mills, viscometers, and related processing equipment.
• Perform quality checks and document batch data, test results, and material usage.
• Fill, label, and package finished products according to specifications.
• Operate forklifts and transport materials throughout the facility
• Maintain inventory levels of color dispersions, tint pastes, and production materials.
• Clean tanks, equipment, and work areas while maintaining good housekeeping standards.
• Dispose of waste materials in accordance with environmental and company regulatio
• Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures and report equipment or material issues to supervision.
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, batch-making, paint, coatings, chemical, or related experience
• Experience with color matching and quality control processes
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and safety compliance
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
