Job description

The P&D Driver will be responsible for safely operating a variety of vehicles, including stepvans and delivery vans, to complete local and regional deliveries during standard business hours. This role requires effective route planning, timely deliveries, and frequent customer interactions while ensuring all safety and vehicle maintenance standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Plan routes efficiently for local and regional deliveries
  • Handle loading and unloading of delivery items
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and compliance standards
  • Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules
  • Maintain positive customer interactions during deliveries
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance as needed
  • Navigate routes using GPS and other tools

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License for operating assigned vehicles
  • Proficiency in vehicle operation and road safety
