Earnings vary based on route size, efficiency, and workload, making it important to evaluate the investment and business skills required.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Weekend FedEx P&D Contractor, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Weekend FedEx P&D Contractor, you need a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and experience with parcel delivery or commercial driving. Familiarity with handheld scanners, GPS navigation systems, and FedEx delivery protocols is typically required. Strong time management, customer service, and problem-solving skills help you efficiently handle deliveries and resolve issues on the road. These abilities ensure timely, accurate deliveries and positive customer interactions, which are critical for maintaining service standards and contractor success.

What is the 11 hour rule for FedEx?

The 11-hour rule for FedEx P&D contractors states that drivers cannot work more than 11 hours in a single shift, including driving and loading/unloading time. This rule helps ensure driver safety and adherence to federal hours-of-service regulations.
