Appointment Setter - Inbound Home Improvement Leads

Rapid Home Service Group

Bohemia, NY

Full-time

Posted 21 days ago

Job description

Warm leads only. No cold calling, ever.

Every person you call already raised their hand and asked us to reach out. Your job is simple: call them fast, qualify them, and book the right ones onto our sales team's calendar. That's it.

About us

We're Rapid Home Service Group - two of the fastest-growing home improvement brands on Long Island. Rapid Roofing was just named INC 5000's #30 Fastest Growing Construction Company in America, and BOSS Decks is a TrexPro Gold Installer. Inbound leads come in all day across phone, text, web, Google Business Profile, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram DMs.

Why this seat exists

The biggest reason home improvement companies lose customers isn't price. It's that nobody called the lead back fast enough. We refuse to operate that way. The person in this seat is the speed - the front door of the company, the reason a homeowner feels taken care of from the very first phone call. You're remote, but you're not alone. Daily check-ins with the team on Long Island, direct lines to the sales reps you're booking for, and clear daily numbers so you always know if you're winning.

What you'll do

  • Call every new inbound lead within 5 minutes of intake
  • Qualify with a few quick questions - fit, timeline, project, location
  • Book appointments directly into sales reps' calendars in GoHighLevel
  • Re-engage older leads in the pipeline with friendly check-ins - not pressure
  • Send confirmations and pre-appointment reminders so reps don't sit no-shows
  • Keep the CRM clean - every lead tagged, every status accurate, every follow-up scheduled
  • Hand off cleanly to the sales rep with notes the rep can actually use
  • Send review and referral requests after projects wrap

This is not a cold-call seat. Not a sales seat. Not a script-reading seat. The energy is closer to a great hotel front desk than a call center - warm, organized, and unflappable. If you've worked somewhere where leads sat in a queue, where nobody followed up, where great opportunities went stale because the company couldn't get out of its own way - you'll see the difference here on day one.

What we're looking for

  • Strong phone presence - warm, clear, professional, fast on your feet
  • Comfortable living in a CRM all day - typing, tagging, following up on time without being reminded
  • Reliable home office: stable internet, quiet workspace, headset, second monitor a plus
  • Eastern Time business hours, plus some Saturdays (one of our highest-volume inbound days)
  • Self-managing - nobody will be screen-recording your bathroom breaks. The metrics speak for themselves.
  • Background in appointment setting, inbound CSR, hospitality front desk, dental/medical front desk, or any high-volume phone-based coordination role is a strong plus
  • No degree required. No home improvement experience required.

Bonus points if you've actually used our stack

We run on a specific set of tools, and candidates who already know any of them get serious priority in the interview process - and a higher starting rate if hired:

  • GoHighLevel (GHL) - our CRM, source of truth for every lead
  • CallRail - call tracking and routing
  • AccuLynx - job management for Rapid Roofing
  • JobTread - job management for BOSS Decks

If you've sat inside any of these platforms in a previous role, say so directly in your application. Even one is a real plus.

Reference checks required. Before any offer is extended, candidates are required to arrange reference calls with former direct managers. We select who we speak with from a list you provide. This is a condition of the hiring process, not a formality.

(If you've never had a traditional manager - a shift lead, office manager, or someone you've worked closely under for at least 6 months - that counts. Tell us up front.)

How to apply

Apply now. If you're a fit, you'll hear from us within 48 hours - not two weeks. When you apply, in two sentences, tell us how fast you typically respond when a message hits your inbox during work hours, and list any of the four tools above you've used before.

Benefits

Compensation

Strong performers in this seat earn in the top 90th percentile for appointment setters in our market. We pay above the industry average because we expect more than the industry average - and because we're building toward a multi-location call center where the people who start here are the people who lead it. The better you perform, the faster the pay grows.
