FORMATS NEEDED:

Body Combat, Body Pump, Body Attack and CORE

Under the direction and supervision of the Program Director, the Program Instructor III will be primarily responsible for providing quality leadership and supervision, in aerobic and/or fitness classes, while maintaining a safe, non-competitive environment for YMCA members.

  • A high school diploma, or its equivalent, and 3-4 years’ experience is required.
  • A minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Knowledge of basic exercise science, biomechanics principles and fitness class leadership are required.
  • Ability to successfully demonstrate aerobic choreography.
  • Verbally provide clear concise directions and visually inspect classroom for safety
  • Maintain current certifications in CPR AED, First Aid, Safety & Risk Management, Child Abuse Prevention and New Employee Orientation or the ability to obtain within 60 days of employment.
