Job description

RPMGlobal is e seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our North American sales function and accelerate growth across the region. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving revenue, expanding market share, developing high-performing sales teams, and strengthening relationships with key customers in the mining industry. The position is based in either Vancouver or Calgary and offers the opportunity to influence the future growth of a globally recognised mining technology business. 


About the Role

As Sales Director, you will develop and execute the North American sales strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives while delivering sustainable revenue growth. You will lead, coach and mentor a team of sales professionals, build strong customer relationships, and work closely with product, marketing and customer success teams to achieve commercial objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the North American sales strategy to achieve regional growth objectives.
  • Own revenue targets, sales forecasting, pipeline management and annual sales planning.
  • Identify new market opportunities, customer segments and emerging industry trends.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing sales team focused on accountability, collaboration and results.
  • Recruit, onboard and support sales professionals to maximise performance and engagement.
  • Maintain visibility across sales pipelines and provide coaching to achieve sales objectives.
  • Partner with marketing, product and customer success teams to strengthen customer acquisition and retention.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key mining companies and strategic partners.
  • Represent RPMGlobal at industry conferences, trade shows and customer events across North America.
  • Provide customer and market feedback that helps shape future product development and business growth initiatives.


About You

You are a commercially driven sales leader with extensive experience selling enterprise software solutions into complex customer environments. You are passionate about building teams, winning strategic opportunities and developing long-term customer partnerships.

You will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years' experience selling enterprise technology, software or ERP solutions in the mining industry.
  • At least 5 years' leadership experience managing and developing sales teams.
  • Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding revenue targets in competitive markets.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and executive-level customer relationships.
  • Strong understanding of the mining industry and its operational challenges.
  • Proven ability to develop strategy, negotiate effectively and drive business growth.
