What you'll do
As an Event Marketing Manager at Brex, you'll support a portfolio of B2B events - the events that put us in front of founders, finance leaders, and operators. You'll report to the Head of Events on the Corporate Events team in Revenue Marketing, and work daily with sales, field marketing, and brand design. Corporate Events is a growing team that delivers highly engaging, high quality events with consistent ROI. You'll deliver a portfolio of industry & hosted events from brief through post-event reporting. You'll have input on the portfolio strategy and how the team operates. The work spans strategy, operations, experience design with our brand and creative teams, and tight coordination with sales on what happens before and after each event.
Where you'll work
This role will be based in one of our 5 hubs (San Francisco, New York City, Seattle, Salt Lake City and Vancouver). We are a hybrid environment that combines the energy and connections of being in the office with the benefits and flexibility of working from home. We currently require a minimum of three coordinated days in the office per week, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. As a perk, we also have up to four weeks per year of fully remote work!
Responsibilities
  • Own how Brex shows up at each event in your portfolio, from brief through post-event reporting, including vendor management, design partnership, registration, on-site execution, and sales follow-up
  • Execute event sponsorships end-to-end: vendor and venue coordination, logistics, onsite management, and post-event reporting
  • Coordinate with sales on pre- and post-event outreach - managing specific tasks and timelines to ensure lead follow-through and maximize pipeline impact
  • Partner with design and brand marketing on activations, merch, and graphics for each event
  • Manage vendor contracts and event budgets end-to-end, including reconciliation and variance flagging
  • Collaborate with sales and field marketing teams to develop booth experiences and promotional materials aligned to brand standards
  • Own lead gen & pipeline targets; understand how event performance connects to broader marketing and sales goals
  • Improve repeatable tradeshow processes, documentation, and workflows that scale across the portfolio
  • Evaluate and recommend new event opportunities based on audience fit and pipeline potential
  • Travel to manage onsite components for assigned events, as well as supporting events across the team as needed

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in event marketing or field marketing, with hands-on tradeshow and conference execution experience
  • Demonstrated ability to own events end-to-end: logistics, vendors, onsite execution, and the follow-through that happens after everyone goes home
  • Strong project management skills and a structured approach to planning; experience with project management tools is a plus
  • Known for cross-functional collaboration and clean handoffs and proactive communication at all levels
  • Understands how events connect to business goals - you know why you're running an event and what success looks like
  • Team-oriented but self-directed: you collaborate closely and communicate openly, and you own your workstream without waiting to be told what to do next
  • Comfortable using AI tools to streamline planning, communications, and repeatable workflows
  • Proficiency with G Suite; familiarity with Monday.com, Salesforce, Marketo, or Nooks is a plus
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% for onsite event setup, supervision, and management
  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, related field, or equivalent professional experience

Compensation
The expected salary range for this role is $103,960 - $129,950. However, the starting base pay will depend on several factors, including the candidate's location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
