Job description

Job Description To assist in the management of the day to day operation of the Environmental Services Department and to manage the department in the Director's and Operations Manager's absence. Responsibilities Daily planning, scheduling and supervising of department, working closely with director and operations manager to attain department goals. Daily rounds, quality assurance inspections and patient surveys.

Hiring, counseling, evaluation of staff and training to include new hire orientation and competency testing. Demonstrate and ensure that staff demonstrate the EXCELS Core Values to internal and external customers. Qualifications KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Please describe any specialized knowledge or skills, which are REQUIRED to perform the position duties.

Do not personalize the job description, credentials, or knowledge and skills based on the current associate. List any special education required for this position. EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Three years supervisory experience required, preferably in the healthcare, Environmental Services area.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Proficient in the use of computer, Word and Excel programs, calculator. Display excellent verbal, written and persuasive skills. Prefer knowledge of the systems to maintain carpets and hard floor surfaces.

Have knowledge in the use of carpet extractors, walk behind auto scrubbers, floor scrubbers and other equipment. LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS: Apply
