Great leaders know that exceptional care begins long before a caregiver walks into a resident's room.
At Emerald Trace, we believe every hallway, resident room, common space, and first impression communicates something important.
It says "You matter."
We're looking for an experienced Director of Environmental Services who sees housekeeping as more than cleaning. Someone who understands that creating a beautiful, safe, organized, and welcoming environment is one of the most meaningful ways we can care for the older adults who call Emerald Trace home.
If you're a servant leader who enjoys developing people, improving systems, and taking pride in doing things the right way, we'd love to meet you.

  • Maintain regulatory compliance with state and federal standards.
  • Conduct quality inspections and continuously improve departmental performance.
  • Manage departmental budgets, supplies, equipment, and purchasing.
  • Partner with Nursing, Maintenance, Dining Services, Activities, Infection Prevention, and Administration to create an exceptional resident experience.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance, Safety, and Infection Prevention initiatives.
  • Foster a culture where accountability, teamwork, kindness, and excellence are simply how we do business.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who leads with humility, communicates well, and enjoys helping others succeed.
Qualifications include:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three or more years of supervisory or management experience in environmental services, healthcare, hospitals, long-term care, hospitality, hotels, or a related service environment.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Experience leading teams through coaching, accountability, and professional development.
  • Knowledge of environmental services operations, infection prevention, OSHA, and safety practices preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • A commitment to creating an environment where residents feel proud to call Emerald Trace home.
