Job Description Our client is a Tier-1 global gold producer with a strong track record of building and operating complex assets worldwide. They're known for disciplined execution, strong technical bench strength, and a clear focus on developing internal capability across projects and operations. What They Need: A senior engineering leader to own the global engineering function.

This is a high-impact corporate role at the center of major projects and site operations, focused on raising the bar on engineering quality, consistency, and talent across the business. What You'll Do: Own the Engineering Function: Lead the global corporate engineering team across mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, piping, and I&C. Set the standard for how engineering gets done across projects and sustaining capital.

Build and develop a strong internal bench of engineering talent. Support Projects Where It Matters: Work directly with Project Directors to define Owner's Team needs and staffing. Help shape scopes, select partners, and stand up the right engineering support model.

Stay close to projects as they evolve, stepping in with guidance, troubleshooting, and support as needed. Drive Quality and Accountability. Put real QA/QC and audit processes in place across all project phases.

Review engineering work from early studies through construction and commissioning. Make sure what gets built matches the intent, standards, and expectations. Be a Go-To Resource for Sites: Step in on site-led initiatives with hands-on technical support when needed.

Review work, challenge assumptions, and help solve problems. Support capital estimates and execution plans coming out of site teams Work Across the Business: Partner closely with Projects, Supply Chain, Technical Services, Maintenance, and Sustainability. Act as the bridge between corporate engineering and what's happening on the ground.

What You'll Bring: 15+ years in mining engineering, including leading multidisciplinary teams. Engineering degree + P.Eng (or equivalent)Strong experience across both studies and execution: mine development, process plants, infrastructure. Proven ability to manage scope, budget, schedule, and stakeholders on large projects

Comfortable working across EPCMs, consultants, contractors, and internal teams. Independent, practical, and able to influence without direct authority. Nice to Have: International project exposure.

Background in project delivery or site operations. Spanish, French, or Portuguese. What's In It for You: Real influence at the corporate level across a global project and operations portfolio.
